Meet our School

Cherokee Ridge Elementary School first opened in 1998 to combine the former schools of Osburn Elementary and Mountain View Elementary. We are currently one of the largest elementary schools in Walker County with an average of 550 students. We serve students PreK - 5th grade and have both an excellent special education program and gifted program. T-Birds back to the nest! We are lucky to have several former CRE students who have returned as staff members.
